Winter Olympics 2014 Begin!

The first Olympic Winter Games held in 1924 in Chamonix, France, featured downhill skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping, figure skating, speed skating, bobsleigh, and ice hockey.  The event was called the White Olympics.
